                <![CDATA[We are seeking a highly skilled and digitally fluent Clinical Embryologist, registered with the Ordem dos Biólogos or ESHRE, to join our embryology team. You will play a hands-on role in the delivery of ART procedures, laboratory quality, and innovation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for science, precision, and process optimisation, who wants to contribute to shaping the future of fertility care.<br>This is an on-site role based at our serene clinic in Cascais, Portugal. <br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><br><strong>1. Clinical Embryology Procedures</strong><br>Perform core ART procedures: dish preparation, oocyte pickup, IUI, egg freezing, IVF, ICSI, blastocyst culture, embryo grading, vitrification/warming of gametes and embryos, PGT prep, biopsy and tubing<br>Perform routine andrology techniques including sperm preparation and analysis.<br>Ensure accurate electronic documentation of procedures and patient data.<br><br><strong>2. Laboratory Operations &amp; Compliance</strong><br>Work according to defined SOPs and best practices in embryology and andrology.<br>Maintain laboratory records, logs, and witness procedures electronically.<br>Adhere to Portuguese and EU regulations for ART laboratory compliance.<br>Contribute to lab quality control systems and participate in audit preparation.<br><br><strong>3. Technology &amp; Innovation</strong><br>Use AI-based embryo, oocyte, and sperm selection tools where applicable.<br>Participate in lab digitisation, automation initiatives, and workflow improvement.<br>Collaborate with technical teams to support digital integration across clinical systems.<br>Stay updated on advancements in embryology tools and ART technologies.<br><br><strong>4. Collaboration &amp; Patient Communication</strong><br>Work closely with physicians, nurses, and admin teams to ensure seamless treatment delivery.<br>Communicate laboratory results clearly and compassionately to patients when appropriate.<br>Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to optimise patient care plans.<br><br><strong>5. Research &amp; Development</strong><br>Contribute to internal and external R&amp;D efforts, including clinical trials and publications.<br>Maintain a curious mindset and suggest areas for innovation in lab practice.]]>
